The Bloomfield  Public Schools seeks to enrich the academic environment for its students by actively pursuing new strategies for teaching, educational programs, and funding through various State and Federal Grants on a yearly basis.  Additionally, a district-wide professional development program assures that all professionals within the District stay current with educational developments and the great variety of strategies and practices available.   To that end, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction sees  to the details of the various grants and programs, selects the most appropriate in-service programs for secondary teachers, and assures that all teachers are in compliance with good educational practices.
