Update: Mobile Computer Science Principles (Mobile CSP) is based on the College Board's emerging Advanced Placement (AP) course in computer science. Students learn computer science by building socially useful mobile apps.  In addition to programming and computer science principles, the course is project-based and emphasizes writing, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

This course is designed for both the student who wishes to gain an introduction to elementary programming and the student who wishes to extend programming skills to a more advanced level.  The student will use high level programming languages, internet applications and the “TI-83 plus” calculator to master programming techniques.  These skills will be utilized in carrying out individual projects from the field of mathematics and science.  The logical structure of thinking required to solve problems will be emphasized throughout the year.  A graphing calculator is required for this course.
