The special education team consists of 12 certified personnel. Seven are licensed special education teachers who case manage, teach resource classes, and co-teach with regular education teachers. The eighth licensed teacher directs the Secondary Vocational Skills Program (SVSP), teaching life skills to students with more involved disabilities.
Other vital members of the special education team are the Social Worker, the Speech and Language Clinician, the Psychologist, the Transition Coordinator, and the Special Education Secretary.
Together, as a team, Individual Educational Plans (IEP’s) , are planned and implemented in compliance with state and federal mandates.
