Back to Work for Metacomet Students

We are all back to work at Metacomet. Third and fourth grade students are beginning new Units of Study that were developed by staff members over the course of last year. These units of study teach science and social studies through all content areas. This is an exciting way for our students to gain more experience with non-fiction texts, and increases the rigor and expectations of  learning. These units were created by looking at the CT state Grade Level Expectations (GLEs) as well as the up and coming Common Core Standards.
