Welcome Back, Bloomfield Public Schools! 🕺🎶
We kicked off the 2026–2027 school year with an energetic “Back to the ’70s” Annual Convocation at Bloomfield High School on Monday, August 24! From ’70s music and dancing to an inspiring message from 2026 Teacher of the Year Jen Coleman and a fabulous costume contest, our staff brought the energy!
The theme was more than just fun—it represents our commitment to working toward a score in the 70s on the state accountability index and, most importantly, continuing to grow and improve outcomes for our students.
Following Convocation, staff engaged in professional development to prepare for an amazing year ahead. Planting Seeds. Inspiring Growth. Cultivating Excellence.

Today is out first day of school!
We are excited to welcome our students back and look forward to a great school year!
Please remember that hats, jackets, and other personal belongings will be collected and stored during the school day. Cell phones will also be collected and safely put away for the day. Students will receive their phones back at the end of the school day.
