School District to Participate in Summer Food Program

Bloomfield Public Schools will once again be participating the federally funded Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Free nutritious meals will be provided to children 18 years and under at the following sites:

Bloomfield High School (July 5 to July 29)

Breakfast – 7:50 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Lunch – 12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Carmen Arace School (June 27 to August 19)

Breakfast – 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Lunch – 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Laurel Elementary School (June 27 to August 5)

Breakfast – 9:05 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.
Lunch – 11:00 a.m.  to 11:20 a.m.

Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School (June 27 to Aug. 5)

Breakfast – 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Lunch – 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.

Bloomfield Public Library - at McMahon Wintonbury 1015 Blue Hills Avenue (June 27 to August 20)

Lunch – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Monday through Saturday

Note: This year all food must be consumed on premises, which means at the schools for community children, food must be eaten in the school cafeteria.  For more information, contact Food Service Director Susan Pinkham at (860) 769-4209
