Bloomfield High School Principal Jesse White joined a select group of Connecticut school administrators for a Day of Learning at Harvard University on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. The event, hosted in partnership with the Harvard Graduate School of Education, brought together education leaders, scholars, and policymakers—including former U.S. Secretary of Education Dr. Miguel Cardona—for a day of collaboration and discussion focused on advancing equity and innovation in schools.
Throughout the day, participants explored “problems of practice” in modern education—real-world challenges that affect teaching, learning, and student well-being. Sessions were led by Harvard faculty and national experts, providing opportunities for reflection, research sharing, and strategic dialogue among practitioners.
Principal White’s participation highlights Bloomfield’s commitment to continuous improvement and leadership grounded in learning. “I’m honored to represent Bloomfield and look forward to bringing back ideas and strategies that will support our students, teachers, and community,” said White.
The Harvard Day of Learning serves as a professional learning forum for education leaders who are committed to transforming school systems and creating opportunities for all students to thrive.
