Each month, Carmen Arace Intermediate School celebrates students who embody their school’s monthly Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) theme. For October, students were recognized for their outstanding demonstration of building community and belonging in their classrooms and throughout the school. Parents proudly presented their child with a leadership medal while listening to the reasons staff and students selected their child for this honor.
Carmen Arace Middle School (CAMS) also celebrates one teacher, one staff member and one student from each grade level for exhibiting The CAMS (Compassionate, Accountable, Motivated, Selfless) Way. The Student/Staff/Teacher of the Month initiative is intended to honor and recognize members of the CAMS team who go above and beyond to create an environment where everyone feels culturally, socially, and emotionally supported.
