We had another great day of celebrating literacy in Bloomfield! In partnership with United Way, Laurel Literacy Academy welcomed guest readers from a variety of local and state organizations and businesses as part of our Read Across America celebration.
Our readers also included some familiar faces from our own community, including Superintendent Dr. Youngberg, Board of Education Chair Lynette Easmon, Mayor Anthony Harrington, Town Manager Alvin D. Schwapp Jr., Town Councilor Suzette DeBeatham-Brown, and Bloomfield Public Library Director Elizabeth Lane.
