UPDATE from the Superintendent of Schools on May 28, 2026:
The school district would like to formally thank the Bloomfield Police Department for their amazing work in finding the two missing students and getting them home to their families late last night.
We also appreciate all the support we received from students, staff, neighbors and local leaders while trying to locate the students. Community is strength!
From the Superintendent of Schools on May 27, 2026 to the Bloomfield families and staff:
The school and district administrators are working closely with the Bloomfield Police Department to locate two students who left the Arace school campus without permission earlier today.
You may notice an increased police presence in the area as part of this coordinated response. At this time, we have no information indicating a threat to our schools.
Our priority is to locate the students promptly and reunite them safely with their families. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to work with the Bloomfield Police Department.
