Bloomfield Public Schools proudly recognized the dedication, service, and accomplishments of its staff during the annual Education Celebration held on June 10, 2026, at Bloomfield High School.
The event brought together district leaders, staff members, retirees, families, and community supporters to honor the individuals who make a lasting impact on students and the Bloomfield community each day. The celebration was led by Grace Martinez, Executive Director of Talent Management & Community Partnerships, who served as mistress of ceremonies for the program.
The event began with a presentation of the colors by the Bloomfield High School JROTC Cadets, who also led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance. Throughout the celebration, students provided beautiful choral performances, showcasing their talents and adding a special touch to the afternoon's festivities.
A highlight of the celebration was the recognition of employees reaching significant career milestones, including staff members who have dedicated 25 and 30 years of service to Bloomfield Public Schools. The district also honored its 2025-2026 retirees, celebrating their years of commitment and contributions to public education.
In addition, Bloomfield Public Schools recognized its Teachers of the Year, honoring educators whose passion, innovation, and dedication exemplify excellence in teaching and learning. This year's celebration also featured two new awards: the Paraeducators of the Year Awards, recognizing exceptional support professionals, and the Extraordinary Service Awards, honoring one certified and one non-certified staff member who have the longest continuous service to the Bloomfield Public Schools-some 82 years of service combined.
Superintendent Dr. Tracy Youngberg and Board of Education Chair Lynette M. Easmon expressed their appreciation to all honorees, acknowledging the important role each staff member plays in supporting student success and strengthening the Bloomfield school community. The district also extends its gratitude to the Town of Bloomfield for its continued partnership and support, including the presentation of a special Town of Bloomfield commemorative coin to each honoree in recognition of their

dedicated service to the community.
The district also extends its appreciation to the many individuals and departments who helped make the event a success. Special thanks go to the Donald F. Harris Sr. AgriScience & Technology Center for providing beautiful floral arrangements and to the Food Services Department for catering the celebration and providing refreshments for guests.
The Education Celebration served as a meaningful opportunity to recognize the outstanding educators and staff members whose dedication, professionalism, and service continue to make a difference in the lives of Bloomfield students and families. Bloomfield Public Schools congratulates all honorees and thanks them for their unwavering commitment to excellence.
