The Bloomfield Board of Education has earned the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) Level Two Leadership Award, recognizing exemplary leadership and effective collaboration in support of the district’s students and schools.
The honor is part of CABE’s Board of Distinction Awards program, which recognizes boards of education that work effectively with their superintendents as a team. The program highlights the importance of strong partnerships in guiding school districts and supporting student achievement.
Bloomfield earned Level One recognition for four consecutive years, exceeding the Level Two eligibility requirement of at least two Level One distinctions within the previous four years. Award criteria include board leadership and student achievement, professional development for board members, policy, community relations, and organizational leadership.
The Board will be formally recognized during the annual CABE/CAPSS Convention, taking place November 20–21, 2026, at the Mystic Marriott. The convention is a joint event of CABE and the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS).
Bloomfield Public Schools congratulates the Board of Education on this achievement and thanks its members for their continued service to our students, families and school community.
