On May 12, 2026, the district proudly presented the CABE Student Leadership Awards to six exceptional students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership within their schools and across the district.
Each recipient was nominated by their school principal in recognition of the positive example they set for others. These students embody the qualities of strong leadership, including a willingness to take on challenges, the ability to make difficult decisions, concern for others, collaboration, diplomacy, a clear understanding of issues, and a commitment to honoring their responsibilities.
This year’s CABE Student Leadership Award recipients were Abigail Daley and Braylen White from Carmen Arace Middle School; Dejoun Wilson Gardner and Yhendelin Moreno-Garcia from Global Experience Magnet School; and Kiersten Golding and Vaughn Glanville from Bloomfield High School.
The district is proud to celebrate these outstanding student leaders and the meaningful contributions they make to their school communities. Their leadership, character, and dedication reflect the very best of our district.
