The State of Connecticut recently changed the kindergarten-entry age. Starting in the 2024-2025 school year all children entering kindergarten must be five years of age on, or before, Sept. 1. State Title up for Grabs: BHS football team plays for the CIAC Class S state championship this Saturday, Dec. 9, 10:30 a.m., vs. Cromwell/Portland at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. Tickets can be purchased Online ONLY at gofan.com. This is the third consecutive year that BHS has advanced to the state finals. Team has won one state title in past five years.
