We are trying to limit the number of accidents on our playground during recess. Some of the students who wear Crocs to school are slipping off the playground equipment or having trouble running at recess. We would like to strongly suggest that students wear sneakers to school to prevent accidents.

Metacomet has celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by adding salsa, merengue, bachata, mariachi, and reggaeton clips to our morning announcements. Mr. McCarthy, our Music Teacher, is switching it up and incorporating Latin percussion with authentic drums.
