As part of our October Spirit Day our students may wear unmatched or wacky clothes on Friday, October 30. Thank you!
I am calling to remind you that students are not to bring medications into school. All medicine must be dropped off by a guardian and a note from the doctor must be given to our school nurse. This includes inhalers, aspirin, cough drops, etc.
Also, if you are changing your child's dismissal plans, please call the office before 2:00 pm. We need to make sure we reach the teacher with the message before the buses begin picking up our students. Thank you!!!
This is a reminder that we are hosting Trunk or Treat for our students on Thursday, October 29 from 6:00-7:00 pm. We are looking for families to decorate their cars and hand out candy to our students. We need a few more families to participate. You do not need to pay if you are participating. For those families that are not decorating your car, you will need to pay $5.00. You can place the money in an envelope with Trunk or Treat written on it. Your child can give to their teacher. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you this Thursday.
Important Update: The Metacomet Invention Convention (MIC) Info Night schedule has been changed. The Info Session will now be held on:
October 28, at 3:00 PM in the STEAM Lab (Room 114).

Just a reminder that our parent-teacher conferences are next week. We will have an Early Dismissal at 1:25 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. As cold and flu season approaches, we would ask for you to donate tissues, sanitizing wipes and/or snacks like pretzels, Goldfish crackers, or chips to our classrooms. You can give your donation right to your child's teacher at your conference. Thank you for supporting our school!

🎃 We're calling all families for a helping hand at our Trunk or Treat Bash! 🎃 We are looking for about 10-15 families to jump on board as TRUNK HOSTS!
Here’s the spooky scoop:
*Scan the QR code or visit https://forms.gle/W26RXydSSMsNht9W8 to register as TRUNK HOST.
*Report to duty by 5:45 p.m. on event night.
*Bring peanut-free candy and NO latex balloons allowed. (School will also have candy)
*Deck out your trunk with all of your décor and supplies.
*All children must be accompanied by an adult.
* Costumes are not required, however, horror themed, scary characters, and toy weapons are prohibited.

I wanted to send a reminder to all our families that we do not allow cell phones, SMART watches, toys, squishy toys and fidgets in our school. These items become a distraction and causes problems in our school- especially when they get lost of stolen. We ask that you have your child keep these items at home. If they are found at school, we will take them away and call home. We ask that parents come and pick up the items. Thank you for your support!
