Hello Metacomet Grade 5 families.
We would like to invite you to our Instrument Rental Night!
Parents and students are invited to stop into the music room on October 7th to meet a representative from "Music and Arts" music store. We have a special deal with the store and are excited to offer instrument lessons at Metacomet this year. Lessons will be scheduled during the day with students receiving group lessons every week.
See you Wednesday October 7th in the Metacomet Musicroom between 4pm-6pm.
Our music teacher Mr. McCarthy will be there to answer all of your questions.

Hello, Metacomet Families,
We are going to move our Mini Field Day for students who completed the Summer Packets from Wednesday, September 30 to Friday, October 2. Due to all the rain that we had during the past three days, the field is very wet and we do not want our students to get hurt. We expect that by Friday, the grounds will be dry and we will have our Mini Field day from 2:15-3:00 pm. We will not send out permission slips to families. Any student who handed in a completed packet by September 25 will automatically be part of the field day. If you are not sure if your child will be part of the field day you may contact your child's teacher or the Metacomet office. Thank you!
