The district - in collaboration with Bloomfield Social & Youth Services and other partners - will host of series of free monthly financial empowerment and self-care workshops, starting Thursday, Nov. 9.
The first session is entitled “Money Matters” and will focus on how to create and maintain a budget. The 6 p.m. workshop will be conducted at 330 Park Ave., Bloomfield. In-person and virtual attendance options are available.


Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer Team on a great season! The boys fell to St. Bernard's yesterday in the first round of the Class 'M' State Tournament, 3-1. The goal for the Warhawks was scored by All Conference and All State selection, Jahmeen Harrigan.


BHS' National Honors Society is collecting canned food for their Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please consider making a donation. Canned goods will be collected until November 16th.


Congratulations to Senior, Jahmeen Harrigan who has been named All Conference and All State this fall in soccer. Jahmeen has also been invited to play in the 2023 Senior Bowl at Dillon Stadium on November 12th at 12:00 p.m.

BHS boys and girls soccer teams start CIAC state tourney this week:
Monday, Nov. 6 - Girls play Lewis Mills, 4 p.m., at Nassahegan Recreation Complex in Burlington.
Tuesday 11/7: Boys play St. Bernard, 2 p.m., in Norwich.

BHS Soccer is on its way to the playoffs! On Monday, November 6th, BHS' Girls Soccer Team will take on Lewis Mills at Nassahegan Recreation Complex in Burlington at 4:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, November 7th, BHS' Boys Soccer Team will take on St. Bernards at St. Bernard High School in Norwich. This is the first time in school history that both teams have made the playoffs in the same year! Tickets for both games can only be purchased online using the Go Fan site. Congratulations to the Varsity Football Team on their 44-6 win over East Catholic last night! Five touchdowns for the Warhawks were scored by Davion Kerr and another touchdown by Quarterback Darrien Foster. The boys will take on Tolland next Friday night at home at 7:00 p.m. on Senior Night!

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Soccer Team for their 5-0 victory over Hartford Public yesterday! Goals for the Warhawks were scored by: Sianna Lloyd (2), Sarah Priemer (1), Taylor Jackson (1), and Arianna Reid (1). The girls will play in the first round of the playoffs, this coming Monday. District's annual food drive is underway. Your non-perishable food items are needed.


BHS' FFA Leadership Team and Mrs. Edwards-Hassan traveled to Indianapolis this week for the 96th National FFA Convention & Expo. The National Convention & Expo is all about growing the next generation of leaders. During this event, FFA members learn how to: find out who you are, who you want to become and how you can change how the world grows.




BHS' Annual Girls Flag Football Game will be next Thursday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. as the Under Classmen take on the Upper Classmen. Come out and support all of these Warhawks in a battle for the BHS title.
