The AgriScience Flower Shop is selling single stem sunflowers for delivery on Friday of this week. Each sunflower is $4.00 and includes delivery to anywhere in the high school, a notecard and envelope for your personalized message and a water tube to quench that thirst. Congratulations to the recently elected Board of Education, new chairperson Lynette Easmon and returning vice chair Howard Frydman. The other members of the new board, which held its first meeting Tuesday, Nov. 14, are: new Board Secretary Femi Bogle-Assegai, Kimberly Dunbar, Thomas Moore,, Dr. Lisa Simone and Tiffany Mack-Mohammed.

A reception for all recipients was held recently at Dunkin Stadium's Yard Goats Club. OPP's mission is to provide developmental and and job training to Greater Hartford's youth.

Professions could include doctor, nurse, physician assistant, radiologic technologist, medical laboratory science, respiratory therapy, physical or occupational therapy, prosthetics, public health, hospital administration, nutrition, genetic counselor, optometrist, and more! Tonight is Senior Night at Phil Rubin Stadium and we are asking for all our Warhawks fans to come out and support the football team as they take on Tolland for the Conference Championship! The game starts at 7:00 p.m. with senior night introductions starting at 6:30 p.m.


Congratulations to the Upperclassmen who had an impressive win over the Underclassmen last night in BHS' Annual Girls Flag Football Game! The Upperclassmen outscored the Underclassmen, 56-12 with the team of Kiylah Williams, Taylor Jackson, Olivia Moses, Sianna Lloyd, Indya Norman, Sarah Priemer and Nacquelia Fletcher. The Upperclassmen remain undefeated in Girls Flag Football!



Quarter 1 Report Cards are now available to view on your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Students who made Honor Roll will receive a letter in the mail inviting them to an Honor Roll Ceremony on Thursday, November 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the BHS Auditorium.

BHS Agri-Science students are raising broilers (meat chickens) to sell to the public for their SAE project. Student SAE projects are a requirement when enrolled in the agriculture program. These chickens are being raised, cage free, hormone free and antibiotic free! All birds will be shrink wrapped and ready for pick up the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Price is $25 per bird and quantities are limited. Reserve yours today and support the BHS Agri-Science Program.
